About Bill

Grateful you stopped by.

I’m a creative, dynamic storyteller who crafts Comeback Clips© (my proprietary show) designed to inspire audiences of every age—to listen, transform, laugh, cry, and simply enjoy the moment. My work spans authentic narratives, life-inspired screenplays, captivating short stories, persuasive articles, and inspiring blog posts drawn from my own experiences.

I developed the Comeback Builder Workbook because I believe everyone deserves a second chance—and, more importantly, a practical, daily roadmap to making that comeback a reality.

A Glimpse Into My World

Thirteen years ago, several transformative events altered the course of my life and left an indelible mark on my soul. When I look back now, I am so very grateful for what happened. The Builder was born out of my experience. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in the journey of reinvention, researching and living the art of the comeback. Today, I share an 8-step, detailed process designed to empower audience members, clients, and readers alike—to rebuild, refocus, and rise above adversity.

Behind the Comeback Builder Clips

My Comeback Clips are unlike anything else in the marketplace or on the speaking circuit. Featuring 20 distinct, short yet powerful scenes—ranging from the depths of despair, such as imprisonment, to moments that brush against mortality—these clips capture raw, unfiltered resilience and revival. They aren’t just entertainment; they are transformative experiences designed to educate, inspire, and deeply move audiences.

My Journey: The Good, The Bad, and The Complicated

I share only what I know. I began my professional life as an entrepreneur and civic leader—raising over $25 million for companies and nonprofits between 2000 and 2011. In roles spanning board member (serving on ten boards), volunteer, and business owner, I helped launch several companies and generated significant funding for children’s organizations in the Denver area through my work with the Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation.

Early in my career, the Denver Business Journal recognized my achievements by naming me to its prestigious 40 Under 40 Award list in 2000 and highlighting one of our ventures, XploreNet, as the sixth fastest-growing privately held company in Colorado during the early 2000s. I was also featured in the Journal’s Power Book in 2010 and became a 2011 finalist for the Philanthropy Day Corporate Citizen of the Year Award. I had authored five books, spoke to 74 audiences, and started three other companies. Then, in 2013, my world imploded.

Since that turning point, I have been blessed author two books and to speak and entertain audiences worldwide. In my spare time, I coach sports, consult, write, travel, and enjoy watching my kids play. Above all, I cherish every moment spent with my incredible soulmate, my wife Kay.

In a Nutshell

I believe that your comeback doesn’t begin when everything is perfect or the path is clear—it starts with a choice. We choose to stand up, take a breath, not take our own life, and take a step forward. We choose not to give in but to fight for something more.

Please join me on this marvelous adventure.
